Honey Cake recipe

Just for Camilla 🙂

This is the easiest cake you will ever make (except possibly for the chocolate cake microwave thingy in the cup)

1 c cake flour, 4 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt, 1/2 sugar – sift together

3 tbsp butter, 1/2 c milk – heat together until butter has melted, then add 1 egg that has been lightly beaten.

Add milk mixture to dry ingredients and fold in

Pour into 20cm baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown at 180 degrees Celcius. 

Melt 2tbsp honey and 1.5 tbsp butter (or as much as you like!) together and pour over cake as it comes out of oven. You can serve with dollop of cream, but I normally decide to bake this at the last minute, so never do the cream.
