Birthday party

Daniel had a birthday party to attend this morning and I must say, it was one of the nicest venues I’ve been to in ages.  I’m very, very impressed.

It is on a farm, Gan Eden, just outside Durbanville and there was loads for the kids to do.  And lots of shade for the oldies to sit and have a skinner.

First they went for a tractor ride:

Then my child proceeded to stuff his face as he always does at parties:

Then they all ambled off to go and feed the potbelly pigs and ponies and go collect eggs in the chicken coop.  He of course refused to go in there by himself, so I had to hop around between chickens and chicken poo in open sandals..

There was also this beautiful lane on the farm I couldn’t resist.  Probably hard to see, but at the end there were 2 horses playing, it was gorgeous. 

All in all, a great morning out with my boy and lots of catching up with the other moms.  Hats off to Gan Eden farm!
