Bugger off bug

It would seem I have some tummy bug or something.  Dragged myself off to the office this morning, ordered some nausea and stomach medication and tried to get on with it.  Gave up at lunch time and came home.

I thought I would sleep for an hour and then finish off some work that really needed to get done by 5pm.  Woke up at 4, 3 hours later, and had to rush to get it done!

I slept through the girls waking up from their afternoon nap, the usual house noise and them going off to the park.  Amazing. Might also have something to do with the girls being awake at 5am this morning.  I was charmed.

Mignon has taken to twirling with Isabel whilst singing the Barney song.  I am trying to get a video clip, but it isn’t going well.

Hubby had an interesting work offer today as well, we’ll see what happens.  I could really do with a sabattical of about 30 years.  But I would probably be bored in about 2 weeks’ time seeing as how my children are now off to school πŸ™‚

I’m going to toodle off to bed now, hoping to feel better tomorrow.

  1. Ooh that 30 year sabbatical is music to my ears. Would probably be bored out of my skull after the first month, but hey I’ll find things to do.

  2. Hoping you do feel better. I believe a good sleep is sometimes better than many medications!
    Hoping you get the video!

  3. Hope you feel better today … and you must post it if you manage to get the girls singing and twirling … sounds adorable! πŸ™‚

  4. Oh shit. (Excuse the pun). Hope you’re feeling hundreds better today πŸ™‚

Yeah, 30 years off sounds tempting to me too – but I’d also be bored in the first month (after I catch up the last 7 years’ worth of scrapbooking).

  5. Hope you are feeling better. I also had a bug the past few days and it was a nightmare of note. Can you believe that I don’t have any medications for adults? Everything that I have is only for kids so I was forced to go to the Dr to get something. And I soooo enjoyed sleeping a lot this week..xx
