I don’t know about the rest of you, but I cannot stand scary movies in any shape or size.
But I love watching Fringe on MNet. Out of the corner of my eye.
Regarding my earlier post, I managed to get through to some bigwig at Aida, so lets see what happens.
I try to avoid talking about work on this forum, but I had a really, really trying day today that is going to cost me a significant amount of money in potential earnings, despite much sweat and tears and I’m really annoyed about it. I’m over it and have talked it through with hubby, especially the money bit as it has an impact on us, but I just wanted to share. It really isn’t easy working for yourself sometimes, but I wouldn’t change it for the world right now as it is what my family needs. Hell, its what I need.
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend, D has a kiddy party on Saturday morning and then we are off to a Christening on Sunday with half of CT’s skinny and fabulous people. I’ll be the frumpy one at the jungle gym clutching a large glass of wine.
Toodeloo!
You have a busy weekend on hand but enjoy it.
I tend to watch scary things with one hand in front of my eyes, fingers slightly spread. I feel safer with my hand in the way – silly I know! If it gets really bad I dig my face into Gavin’s shoulder and he tells me when it’s safe to watch again.
Sorry about the work stuff.
I also can’t do scary. I watched the one and only horror film in my life when I was 12 and some images haunt me still. I know I’m a woos. Sorry about the work front problem – self-employment isn’t always a bed of roses. Actually it is a bed of roses, just sometimes all you experience are the thorns! Have a fabulous weekend.
Yup – I’m always the frumpy one clinging to a glass of wine at the jungle gym.
Sure hope your weekend turns out to be fabulous. I would be the one standing next to you, frumpy and clutching a glass of wine! xxxx
Scary horror – no, not a fan. Was actually planning on watching Fringe to see what it’s all about.
Aah good luck with the work stuff, if the benefits outweighs the negative’s then I suppose it’s still worth your while.
Enjoy that glass of wine!
LOVE scary movies,Fringe is creepy….thats why I love it too.
LOL at Christening, enjoy lots of wine.
Pity about work,we have also taken a few low blows lately, hazard of own business hey
Scary stuff, I need to ask you something, will message you!
Fringe is really good, but this is the second series already, so maybe try to get the 1st series and watch that first?
I plan to enjoy that glass of vino!
hiehie, are you sure we weren’t sisters in a previous life??
No Shaz, you are far too fabulous for that!!
Thanks LL!
hiehie, I used to hide behind the couch!
Thanks!
LOL! Cursed with stick insect acquaintances! My REAL friends are normal… just the peripheral people that weigh 3 kgs and insist on inviting my son to their do’s
i LOVE scary movies! π but hardly get to watch them cos hubby HATES them and i don’t like to watch them alone … i need a hand to hold/squeeze π lol at the christening scene … enjoy your weekend! π

Ek het ‘n baie slegte gewoonte as ek skrik vir ‘n fliek. Ek skop. So het ek eenkeer my nefie vol agter die kop geskop. Hulle moes die video afsit en seker maak hy is OK voor ons kon verder kyk π
