We took Mignon to the Specialist yesterday afternoon and he said her blood test was fine, had a look at her leg, knee and hip and diagnosed “irritable hip” which, if I understand him and Google correctly, is basically an inflammation of the lining of the joint. This apparently happens sometimes 2-3 weeks after children have had a cold.
She is almost back to normal now, already running around again, my little rascal.
I must say, this is probably been one of the scariest experiences of my life. We are so very, very grateful that she is ok.
Looks like the weather will be nice tomorrow and we might venture out for a picnic, trying to decide where!
I thought I might be able to catch them in the bath tonight, this was the best out of about 7 pics! (Mignon left, Isabel middle and of course Daniel on the right)

Glad to hear that Mignon should be fine. Its so scary as a parent when you think of all the what ifs.
I agree, you try very hard not to think of the “what-ifs”, but they started talking bloodcount, I did have a moment.
