Wake up call

Gawd, I’m trying to get through this week without sticking pens in my eyes.  I should really just stop whining and get on with it..

It of course doesn’t help that the girls wake us at 5h15 EVERY morning.  Either one or the other come creeping in and of course I put them in bed with us in the hope that I can get just a few more minutes shut-eye.  But alas.  Hubby get very annoyed when I put them in bed with us as this is our rule, but I can’t help myself 🙂

Shame, Isabel was a little hot this morning.  They both have snotty noses, but I have vowed, no antibiotics unless absolutely necessary, so I’m carting her off to a homeopath tomorrow.  Wish me luck!

I had to work late tonight and when I came home she was burning up, poor thing.  38.1 fever!!!  BUT, I couldn’t exactly yell at hubby as he had cooked supper and looked after them by himself.  And I called several times during the day to check and nanny had taken her temp during the day and said she was fine.

Here are the girls playing hide and seek this morning.  At around 06h00.  Lovely.  And yes, there are usually shoes in the thing but they keep unpacking them..

  1. Sweet — I love the way kids think if they can’t see you, then you can’t see them! Priceless.

  2. Oh no! I hope the fever passes in the night and no antibiotics are needed.
Love that we can still see their feet 😉

  3. This is such a cute picture. Hope she feel better soon and that Mignon doesn’t pick it up from her.

  4. You are going to hunt me down & kill me for this comment but I am going ahead in spite of that. One day when you reach my advanced age you are going to look back on your life & waking at 5.15 with a child d snuggling into bed with you will be a happy memory. Trust me.

  5. Not at all! I totally agree with you! I treasure those cuddles, every single one of them 🙂
