A hero that has let you down… yeah, that is a toughie.
The only time I think a hero has let me down is that moment when you realise your parents aren’t the all knowing powerful people you thought they were. But thats not a real let down, because when they show their true selves and when you realise it, you’ve grown and found out what real life is all about. So its not a ‘let down’ as such. You know? Its the closest thing I can think of!

Good point. And only when you’re a parent do you realise how much pressure you put on your own parents to be ‘perfect’
