I’m not into expensive underwear, I have to confess.
The odd lacy bra is cool and about 10 kgs from now (ha.ha) I’ll be back in my g-strings. I don’t do twin sets, that’s far too much like hard work.
If I have R200 to spend it will go towards something for the kids or a book, so clearly underwear is rather low on the priority list.
BUT, I did go out out and buy some bra’s recently to assist my rather sad-looking boobies after 2 pregnancies, feeding a 4 kg boy and 2 x 3.5 kg girls for almost 4 months each time. Don’t boobs look fabulous when they are full of milk? I felt like Pam A!
But I digress. I went to a lovely shop, Storm in a G-Cup, in Durbanville and bought 2 little numbers. And they fit wonderfully at the time and the service was great. BUT, my (not so) little numbers are just not behaving. I feel like I’m constantly falling out of my bra due to their not-so-perky status. You know when you see a woman and her boobs are kind of sticking over the top of her bra? I’m one of those at the moment…
Any suggestions on good bra’s??
π wish i could help you there, but I’m a face man,.. not really my area of expertease,.. sorry..
Hahah, this is so womanly!!lol. Sorry no advice, but mind you some men pray for them boobies to roll out into their laps. lol. I am silly. Have a great weekend!1 Hope you find the perfect and comfy bra!!
Well my boobs have all but disappeared after breastfeeding only one, so I would kill to have enough boobs to stick over the top of my bra! Good luck finding some good “support” π
π thanks so much for popping in,.. Geez I’ve given this some thought, and discussed it with a few bloggers and most are saying that you would need to post photos so that we could get a better understanding of the problem,.. helpful bunch of people hmm?
(ok ok dont get upset I’m just joking!)
Did they measure you before selling you the bra’s? Any bra boutique worth their salt should do that. Most women are wearing bra sizes that are actually not right, and then end up with “Spillage”. If they didnt measure I would complain to them.
You should see my sad little puppies, they fed 3 kids for nearly 2 years each ,so 6 years in total they are sad….I love wonder bras they do look ever so perky in them….without not so
try wollies – will get the name for u , underwire is best and no lace , thats why i never breasyt feed my kids i hve big ones myself
My boobies are kinda on the big side, so I got a minimizer bra from Edgars – really good support, takes you down 1 size π
Sports bras seem to keep it all in, but I am hopeless about buying new bras and always end up with ancient grey ones that have no elastic left.
I also have more than ample breasts, and found great service at Edgars. The sales ladies at the underwear section measured me up and suggested a size, brand, etc. It fits perfectly and I don’t hesitate, I go straight back to Edgars when new bras are needed.
(PS. I don’t usually like Edgars or shop there at all, but for bras, yes.)
Wow, thanks for all the comments, so glad I’m not alone!
LOL, I did emit a suprized little giggle at the thought!
They were great, my weight just fluctuates too much!
I have BOOZUMS – and the best place for my BOOZUMS to be after T finished with them is Woolies’ Barely There range. They’re smooth, underwired and holds EVERYTHING in. AND I found a factory shop in Salt River that sells BT range (R250 – R350 in Woolies) for R40 – R60!! Shop’s name is Desiree’s at the top of Brickfield Rd, Salt River and they have Woolies underwear, sleepwear, kiddies wear, selected skirts, pants and tops and some Mr Price and Edgars goodies as well.
I’m there like a bear!
