Blergh

What a day.

By the time I got home tonight I was trying to figure out why I was ready to scratch some-one’s eyes out.

Could be my Mom that told me on Friday already that she “thinks she won’t be able to take Daniel for 2 hours today as she thinks she won’t feel well” and then calls me at 10h00 whilst she is driving around to “check” that I got sorted in the end

Could be some work stuff that is already irritating the living shite out of me.

Could be that the cleaning lady broke a bottle of expensive hand wash (birthday gift) in my bathroom and didn’t tell me about it.  My rule is: accidents happen, but always tell me before I find out afterwards.

Could be that the girls both have very runny tummies and I was not told by Nanny.  And Mignon has a low grade fever.  I wonder what’s brewing.

Could be the dirty nappies that were not taken out to the bin before going home time.

Could be PMS.

Could just be time for school to begin and me to re-claim my house and my home office.

Could be that I need to address some issues with 2 people in my life, neither which are people that enjoy conflict or ever admit that they possibly could be wrong or that I can easily get my point across to.  But I know I have to.  And I would rather stick pens in my eyes.

Think I’ll have a glass of red or 3.  And a cuddle. That normally works πŸ™‚

  1. ((HUGS)) You sound like I feel. First day back at work for this year, took Liam with me, he cried all day long, cue the glares from my boss (I work alone in the office most of the time – him and his dad are usually out), he got on my nerves and was hounding me for stuff that was REALLY not urgent, when I had a crying baby on my shoulder. Sorry for the rant, but I just want you to know that I know how you feel.

  2. Don’t you just hate those kind of days? Forget the glass of red, take the whole bottle and go lock yourself in the bathroom.

  3. Oh my goodness! Hugs to you! I feel overwhelmed like this on a daily basis, so I know how you’re feeling.

Hope the wine helped – I’m considering calling in the heavy stuff to help me cope.

  4. Come to me – I start three weeks leave as of NOW! No husband, no son, just me and kitty child chilling at home and me reclaiming a lot of ME TIME! with lots of bottles of yummies… xx

  5. Is that what they’re known as now? I need all the help I can get πŸ™‚
I’d love to know how many mommy’s need “help”!! So I don’t feel like the only froot loop here πŸ˜€

  6. Sjoe, I’m glad I’m not the only one! I really wonder how many of “us” there are though!!!
