Cams convinced me to go and, despite being very nervous to take Daniel with me with all those people, it was a lovely afternoon out with my boy. He was amazingly well behaved and didn’t leave my side at all. He might actually even have had fun.
There were really some amazing things there, too many to mention here. I was very impressed.
The most important thing I bought today was an organic bottle of wine for Daniel’s teacher who got married this weekend. She lives completely organic. How cool is that?
One thing was really special though. I walked past the Cape Fertility Clinic stand and caught the lady’s eye and we started chatting. And I was reminded how lucky, lucky we are to have our babies. I got quite emotional for a minute second, but then I had to catch Daniel before he ran away. So that was that. But still.
HA…wish I could live totally organic.
I actually wanted to go to the show as I received a complimentary from someone. Alas..I had no one to go with me. Hopefully next year. Glad you enjoyed it..xx
So glad you went 😉 and it was a great experience with Daniel
Wow sounds like a great thing to have done
So glad Cams persuaded you and you had a lovely time. I had both boys all day so I couldn’t go.
Next year when you get two complimentary tickets, phone me!
Sounds like a nice afternoon 🙂
I never hear about organic expos like that here in Jo’burg – we have an organic market but the prices are awfully escalated and a lot of the people tend to look down their noses at you. Lucky you – sounds like a fab time! 🙂
Ooeee, pick me, pick me!!!
Will let you know next time!
Bummer, I know the feeling!
Don’t worry, there is a fair amount of nose staring here too, I just ignore them. The guy at the wine stand was quite snippy!
