Good Godfathers. What a night. Don’t expect a coherent post..
I have had the same silly little headache for the last 2 days and thanks to 2 hours of whining and screaming from Mignon I now have a full blown Migraine, am off to bed soon.
I think she must have not slept properly at school as she started asking for her bottle at 18h30 already, but that’s way too early to put her down. Didn’t want to eat, didn’t want to bath etc etc etc. Sigh.
Makro has a special on trampolines and hubby got a small bonus this month, so we took the plunge. Now we just need to figure out how to put it together. In the meantime the kids had fun jumping on the the picture of the trampoline on the box though..
I also felt like throwing my toys out the cot this morning at Daniel’s school. As you probably know, Montessori schools forbid discourage children to wear superheros/cartoon characters. WELL, one of the Dads and his little boy walked in after Daniel and I. (I was trying not to trip on Daniel’s lip, but that’s a whole other story).
Whilst inside we are having our usual fight about him unpacking his bag (he doesn’t) and hanging it up (as if) and out of the corner of my eye I see the Dad changing his little boy’s shirt. He PUT ON the Ben10 shirt. WTF? So, I asked the little boy why he was putting it on and DAD says: “ah, see, I told you they won’t like it”. I was gobsmacked. Dude, who is the adult??!!
Anyhoo, I’m going to go and lie down now. All right, I might just finish watching Top Gear..
Shame man. Hope the headache clears.x
Tomorrow is another day, hope you feel better.
Hope you have a better day today.
PS. What’s up with that dad? Some people.
Shame, man. Hope you feel better soon! xx
Hope headache is better.
Amazing how the parents are often the ones not adhering to the rules.
And then he has the cheeck to blame his child!
good grief, what an extremely weird father. 🙂
Trampolines are great for the kids.
Sometimes letting the child find out for themselves is easier than fighting about it – especially small things like shirts. PS I think not being able to wear cartoons/superheros is slightly detrimental to childrens natural acting in character phase. Mine wore superman and spiderman and batman costumes to school daily for years – I wouldnt have deprived them of this for anything. Just my opinion.
I hope your migraine goes away – nothing worse.
Hope you enjoyed Top Gear – I had a good chuckle 🙂
Oooh, I’m thinking trampoline right now 🙂 How much? I’ll go look on Makro’s site….
Hope that headache/migraine has subsided. I’d have resorted to the Synap Forte then passed out for the night.
Some parents hey? Makes you wonder!
Hope that the headache is cleared today.
Trampoline was one of the best prezzies Jess got. She has a small one at the moment but has put in an order for a full size one for her birthday.
xxxx
They are also on special at Game!
R1699 for the 12 foot number..
I’m on a homeopathic trip, so am trying not to drink anything. Does work, just takes longer..
I hear what you are saying re the cartoon characters, but I’m quite bought into the Montessori way and age appropriate play.
Different strokes 🙂
