Roll on Friday!

It’s official.  This is The Week of The Sick Children.  But I’m so over whining about that today.  Roll on Friday, enough already of this week.

After trying to explain to my Mom why we choose to go to a homeopath, she says to me today, ‘Maybe you should just stick them on a good antibiotic to kill all the bugs’.  SMH.  So I had to re-explain that the Homeopath is not arrogant and she’s qualified enough to tell when we can’t fix it the natural way.  And that just putting them on an antibiotic will kill not only the bad bugs, but also all the good stuff. 

But that’s just me.

Hubby and I were were catching up earlier this evening and in the background I could hear a little smacking sound, but didn’t think anything of it until I hear hubby calling me with that slight note of hysteria in his voice.  That little smacking sound was the girls that had openend an almost full tub of aqueous and managed to smear it all over themselves, the (light green) couch, the floor, their clothes and in their hair.  So we promptly carted them off to the bath.  I took pics, but Isabel had pulled down her pants and had rubbed it all over herself, so no naked pics here.  Sorry.

And this is after she had vomited all over the couch last night.

Lastly, a quick Danielsim:

I was reading to him tonight and it was a bumper edition of Sleeping Beauty in Afrikaans and English.  So when we get to the part where the fairies keep changing the colours of the dress he says:  Mamma, daai rok is pienk in Afrikaans.

And then promptly feel asleep in my arms.  And crapped on me for not finishing his story when I snuck out of his bed and he woke up.  So, back I went. 

Have I mentioned how happy I am that it is Friday tomorrow?
