Swimming and pic share

I had a shit day.  I have run out of my Adrenalin happy drugs and the supplier is out of stock.  I feel destitute without them!  And only realised this evening why I wanted to crawl into a very little space and stay there.  Like I would fit anyway.

It was my turn to read to Daniel tonight and we were reading Finding Nemo.  Came across this quote and it made me feel better, so thought I would share:

Dory: Hey there, Mr. Grumpy Gills. When life gets you down do you wanna know what you’ve gotta do?
Marlin: No I don’t wanna know.
Dory: [singing] Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim.
Marlin: Dory, no singing.
Dory: [continuing] Ha, ha, ha, ha, ho. I love to swim. When you want to swim you want to swim.
Marlin: Now I’m stuck with that song… Now it’s in my head.
Dory: Sorry.

Anyhoo.

Hubby made Shepherd’s pie for supper tonight, and when Daniel sat down at the table he took one look and said:

‘Pappa, hierdie food is ugly.’  (There is a lot of mixing of languages going on at the moment)  He did eat in the end after we bribed him with a mielie.. 

DietEating plan going really well.  Had McD’s for lunch in the car between appointments.  Mother’s Day nougat for dessert.  Shared with hubby of course.  Busy contemplating next move.

I was fooling around with the girls’ hair tonight:  (what you can’t really see is the 56 hair clips in Daniel’s hair he insisted we put in 🙂  He has all his limbs, they just all move to fast for the camera sometimes.  After this pic I effed up the girls’ fringes in the bath.  They were moving targets.

Lastly, you are probably so bored with my autumn pics by now, but I don’t really care, thought this was lovely today:

2 more days and I would have survived this week. Can’t wait.  Much wine will be consumed this weekend.
