Right now I should be
putting on the washing machine
folding up dry washing
putting another load in the tumble dryer
tidying up the kitchen
making beds
getting the children dressed
yell at them for leaving their half-eaten apples on the floor
But I am busy chewing on my morning coffee and hanging around here instead. (I effed up something with the machine so now there is ground coffee everywhere) And the children are running amok.
Well, off I am to face this day… Today and tomorrow it’s just the 4 of us and on Monday the children start holiday camp at school. Right now I’m sad about that, but in about 30 minutes I’ll be very happy about it!
Quick question:
I am fresh out of books, please can someone suggest something nice to read? I have just finished all the Stieg Larssons, so need something just as good. I’m suffering from post-good-book-depression!
Morning lady. You read The Book Thief? It’s excellent.
Aha! Will try to find at the 2nd hand store, thanks!
I have got Dan Brown and LOTS of Jodi Piccoult if you want to borrow it?
Tee hee!
Omw – I could ABSOLUTELY bring my chaos and add to yours? π We can drink “coffee” [nudge nudge] and pray no-one hurts themselves? lol [yes, it’s THAT kind of a day :P]
Go have a scrub around the second hand book store in Durbanville, just around the corner from Cash Creators and almost opp the old Cosmos restaurant. I always have a ball in there, very good prices too. Hugs for the chaos! xx
I have a bunch of Tess Gerritsen
I hate that post good book depression. My friend gave me Vampire Diaries – not great writing, just fun escapism. No Stieg Larsson though.
Hmm, will give you a buzz, just finished one off now as well and one more waiting..
Cool! How about this avie??
I love that shop! Have you tried Bookwise in Rosenpark? Tell Charlotte I said hi π
I lend you mine, you’ll LOVE them!
The new Dan Brown?? Was it any good??
How do you find the time to read ANY books (excluding “Barney Leer Goeie Maniere” and “My Plaasdiertjies”) with 3 kiddies running around? Its been two sad years for me……..
The Lost Symbol. We loved it!
I would love to – however, fairy has just cancelled the course I paid for. So trying to get that all sorted. Beyond pissy
Yip, I’m pretty much stuck on Barney, Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank, and Disney Reading Club – for SIX years already! It took me 5 months to read a book hubby bought me for Christmas π
Whenever I feel like this, I’m going to look at my cat picture “motto”. π
We read before we go to sleep at night and make sure we read stuff we like π
Bawawawa, I need to put that up somewhere!
We have to start praticing to read ‘real’ books with the club and all
I loved The Book Thief too!
Goodness yes, we’ll have to compare notes beforehand!
